We acknowledge that the land on which Central Island Counselling, Nanaimo operates is the unceded, traditional and ancestral territories of the Coast and Interior Salish Peoples. In Nanaimo we acknowledge our presence on the territories of the Snaw Naw As, Snuneymuxw and Stz'uminus Peoples. This land is home to many diverse Indigenous peoples, and we honour their connection to the land, oceans, and rivers. We respect the importance of the environment to strengthen our community.
